Parksley, VA Real Estate
You will find Parksley somewhat north of the midway point of the picturesque peninsula that is the Eastern Shore of Virginia. It is located just off Route 13 approximately twenty minutes south of the Maryland line and about an hour north of our end of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel complex.
Parksley is a mostly undiscovered gem in the middle of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Only about 8 miles north of Onancock, this town doesn't get the same publicity as its older, waterfront sister.
Parksley's best selling points are the big old homes on moderate-size lots. Large trees surround the homes and shade the porches and the street. You can walk to the stores downtown from almost anywhere. The town is away from the water so it has relatively few bug problems.
